This easy to make home made chocolate will replace any high quality bitter chocolate you can buy at the store. Use only the highest quality of ingredients and no sugar to make this addictive chocolate.

Although it’s very easy to make this recipe, it might take some trial and error to find the perfect blend of ingredients to create your perfect chocolate. My favorite additions to the chocolate are vanilla and brandy but you can blend in almost anything that make sense for example mint flavor, Sea salt, cacao nibs, maca etc’.

    Steps

    1
    Done

    Prepare Ingredients

Grate the raw cacao butter into a cup (it will melt a lot easier once grated). Prepare a cup of cacao powder. We will also need coconut about 1.5 table spoons

    2
    Done

Melt Cacao Butter & Coconut Oil

To melt the cacao butter and coconut oil into one smooth layer i'm using a sort of double boiler. Mix cold water and boiled water in a large pan. The water should be hot to a point where you can still put your finger inside the water and not get burn. On top of the pan add a mixing pot and add the cacao butter and coconut oil. Be patient here because it takes a little time to melt everything (we don't want to boil the ingredients)

    3
    Done

    Stir Ingredients

Start stirring the cacao butter and coconut oil until they are becoming liquid and smooth (don't leave unmelted cacao butter residuals)

    4
    Done

Add the Cacao Powder and Mix

Pour the cacao powder into the mix and stir everything together. Half way through the stirring add your sweetener (I use dates syrup but you can use raw honey or stevia or any other sweetener) , Vanilla extract and brandy (this is optional). Stir continuously until smooth.

    5
    Done

    Make Chocolate shapes

After tasting pour the liquid or semi liquid chocolate into a silicon baking sheet (you can also put it in an ice cube tray) and put it in the freezer for about 10 min. Take it out, taste one move them to a sealed box if you are not serving them immediately
